Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican is Chairman of Pavilion Energy. He is also Chairman of Singapore Power, Chairman of Sembcorp Marine and an Independent Director of Sembcorp Industries. Tan Sri Hassan is a Senior Advisor at Temasek International Advisors.
From 1995 to 2010, Tan Sri Hassan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), where he also served as Chairman of several of PETRONAS' public listed subsidiaries. Under his leadership, PETRONAS transformed from a natural gas exporter into an advanced state-owned oil and gas company with a broad international presence. Tan Sri Hassan also served as a Non-executive Director of the Bank Negara Malaysia from 2005 to 2010 and was also an Independent Director of ConocoPhillips between 2011 and 2013.
Tan Sri Hassan was previously an Energy Governor and Energy Community Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF). He was also a Board Member of the WEF's Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) and a Council Member of the WEF's Council of 100 Leaders. He served as Council Member on the International Investment Council, South Africa and as Council Member of the Commonwealth Business Council. Tan Sri Hassan was the Pro Chancellor of the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, which was established in 1997 and has grown to be one of the most prominent private universities in Malaysia.
In 1997, Tan Sri Hassan was conferred the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), which carries the title Tan Sri, by the King of Malaysia. He was also a recipient of the Commandeur de la Legion D'Honneur by the Government of France in 2000 and the Friendship Medal (First Class) by the Government of Vietnam in 2000. Tan Sri Hassan was awarded an Honourary Doctorate (Engineering) by the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2001; and an Honourary Doctorate (Corporate Governance) by the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia in 2006.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) as well as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Mr Alan Chan Heng Loon is Deputy Chairman of Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd and Pavilion Gas Pte Ltd.
He holds the appointments of Chairman of the Land Transport Authority, SG HSR Pte Ltd, the Singapore-China Foundation and a member of the Public Service Commission.
Alan retired as CEO of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd on 1 September 2017 after a stint of 15 years. He had served on the boards of various Statutory Boards, listed and non-listed companies, including Singapore Power.
He was also the Chairman of URA and the Council that reviewed the Code of Corporate Governance in 2012.
Before joining SPH, Alan was an Administrative Officer in the Civil Service. Some of his appointments included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Principal Private Secretary to Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
He is a President's Scholar and was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold and Silver) and the Meritorious Service Medal for his contributions to the public service. He graduated with a Diplome d'Ingenieur from the Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile and a MBA(with distinction) from INSEAD.

Mr Tan Suan Swee is a Director of Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd and Pavilion Gas Pte Ltd. He is also Managing Director, Investments of Temasek International, overseeing the life sciences and energy sectors. Prior to joining Temasek in January 2003, he was Assistant Managing Director of Singapore's Economic Development Board (EDB). In his 16 years at EDB, he headed the energy and chemical industry clusters, was the founding cluster head of biomedical sciences and led the board's European Operations. He was a principal player in formulating the plans for the development of Jurong Island as a hub for the chemical industry. He was also a key member of the Sembcorp Gas team which concluded the first piped natural gas contract from West Natuna, Indonesia in 1998.
At Temasek, Mr Tan was involved in several investment deals in the energy sector and, in its early days, helped steer the growth of Gas Supply Pte Ltd, Singapore's second piped natural gas contract with Indonesia. He also served on the Board of Directors of Sembcorp Utilities, Sembcorp Gas, Seraya Power, Conoco Phillips Petroleum Singapore Chemicals, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical and Asean Bintulu Fertilizer.
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, South Australia on a Colombo Plan Scholarship and an MBA from the National University of Singapore. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2000.

Ms Lee Ching is a Director of Pavilion Gas Pte Ltd. She began her career in Office Administration and Human Resource Development at Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysia's National Oil Company. She was then granted a graduate scholarship by PETRONAS to pursue an MBA degree at the University of Malaya in 1983. Upon graduating in 1985, she resumed service with PETRONAS's Human Resource Management and Development division for the PETRONAS Holding Company.
From 1990 to 1992, Ms Lee served full time on the Secretariat of the National Organising Committee for the LNG 10 International Conference, a global triennial event hosted by PETRONAS in Kuala Lumpur in 1992. She was then promoted to head up the Human Resource Management and Administration Department of PERMATA, a training institute wholly owned and operated by PETRONAS from 1993 to 1994.
In 1995, Ms Lee was posted to PETRONAS's Corporate Planning Division where she was involved in the setting up of a number of PETRONAS Country Offices overseas. She was also involved in Strategic Investment Analysis and Project Evaluation, focusing on LPG and retail business development projects in China, Thailand and Australia.
In 1999, Ms Lee was promoted to Deputy General Manager, Sales and Marketing for Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG), where she was responsible for managing long term LNG contracts with buyers from Japan, Korea and Taiwan for MLNG Satu and MLNG Dua Projects. In 2001, she led the Sale and Purchase (SPA) negotiation for a 20-year contract extension between MLNG and Tokyo Electric/Tokyo Gas of Japan.
In July 2003, Ms Lee was promoted to General Manager, Sales and Marketing for MLNG Tiga, where she was instrumental in clinching a number of short and medium term contracts with buyers from Japan and Korea for the MLNG Tiga project. She was then appointed as General Manager of Marketing and Trading for Japan and the US West Coast following the restructuring of the marketing organisation in the MLNG Group of Companies in 2006.
In 2007, Ms Lee was promoted to Senior General Manager, Commercial Division of MLNG with the following principal accountabilities: Driving the formulation of the Company's annual global LNG marketing and trading strategies and plans, as well as providing oversight and control over the implementation of those plans and strategies.
Ms Lee graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) in 1978.

Mr Tetsuro Kuwabara is a Director of Pavilion Gas Pte Ltd. He has a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in the LNG industry with Mitsubishi Corporation. The former CEO of Mitsubishi Corporation in Malaysia started the LNG business in his fourth year with the company, when he was placed in-charge of the 1st Malaysia LNG Project. His contributions led to a new, 20-year relationship between Japan and Malaysia, bringing suppliers and buyers together. During his stay in Malaysia from 2003 to 2005, he was a Director at the International Chamber of Commerce and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
Returning to Tokyo, he took up two positions which deepened his oil and gas exploration and production experience. Mr Kuwabara was President, Mitsubishi Corporation Exploration and concurrently, SVP responsible for upstream exploration and production.
Mr Kuwabara possesses a strong understanding of the global nature of LNG investments and operations, as well as worldwide LNG spot procurement and trading. He has overseen investments and operations in Alaska, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Oman. He was also responsible for shale gas operations in Canada, USA.
Mr Kuwabara was in Corporate Planning providing support for the then President of Mitsubishi Corporation and later provided advisory to the Group CEO, Energy of Mitsubishi Corporation. He is currently based in Dubai, in his capacity as a Corporate Advisor for Energy of Mitsubishi Corporation and is concurrently a Higher Management Committee member, responsible for the Iraq South Gas Utilization Project.
Mr Kuwabara graduated from Waseda University, Tokyo, Faculty of Law. He is a member of the Tokyo Rotary Club.

He is also an independent director of SATS Ltd, Keppel Land Limited, AXA Insurance Pte Ltd (Chairman),The Esplanade Co Ltd, RHB Investment Bank Berhad and RHB Securities Singapore Pte Ltd. His previous board memberships included those of the National Research Foundation (Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore) and SMRT Corporation Ltd.
From October 2010 to September 2013, Mr Yap was KPMG International’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Asia Pacific Region and a member of its Global Executive Team. Prior to becoming the Asia Pacific Regional COO on 1 October 2010, Mr Yap was the KPMG Head of Financial Services in Asia Pacific, a senior partner in KPMG Singapore and part of the firm’s leadership team.
In a professional career that spanned over 37 years, Mr Yap had served many MNCs involved in financial services, real estates and transportation. He had also served in various committees of the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS).
Mr Yap qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant in 1981. He was a Practising Member and Fellow of the ICPAS, and a Practising Member and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He remains as a non-practising Fellow Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and a non-practising Fellow Chartered Accountant (England & Wales).

Mr Frédéric Barnaud is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd.
Mr Barnaud has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector where he worked for major energy companies in various senior roles, which include the establishment and leadership of commercial, trading and shipping businesses in global energy markets. He is a regular keynote speaker and panelist at most international energy conferences.
He was previously a member of the Gazprom Marketing & Trading Group (Gazprom M&T) Executive Committee and its Chief Commercial Officer managing the global LNG, Oil/LPG and Shipping business units. Between 2008 and 2017, Mr Barnaud successfully positioned Gazprom M&T as a significant player of the global LNG markets, where he built and led a first-class commercial, operational and trading platform. He promoted Gazprom M&T’s presence in Singapore as early as 2009 and was the first chairman of the board of Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore Pte Ltd.
Prior to Gazprom M&T, Mr Barnaud was the Global Head of LNG Trading & Shipping for Total SA. While at Total SA and prior to that, Elf Aquitaine, he held responsibilities in a variety of business divisions, including the Gas & Power Division (LNG trading & shipping); the Refining & Marketing Division (wholesales, strategy and business development) as well as the Oil Trading Division (hedging, derivatives and structured trading).
During his career, Mr Barnaud successfully led major international negotiations for LNG liquefaction and/or exports (e.g. Qatar, Russia, UAE, Nigeria, Yemen, Norway) and for LNG sales and/or regasification terminals (e.g. India, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Mexico, Argentina, Egypt, Pakistan, UK, France). He had also promoted infrastructure-driven projects such as floating liquefaction (Cameroon) and floating storage & regasification units in order to accelerate growth of LNG markets.
Mr Barnaud holds a Master’s equivalent from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, and was a research fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, Oxford University.
